Symptom first, fix second
Trex IPTV troubleshooting guides, picked by what you see
Each guide in this section begins with something you can observe for yourself rather than with the name of your player. Choose the description that matches the screen in front of you, read that guide from the top, and change one thing at a time so you know which change cured it.

#Four symptoms cover nearly every fault people bring here. Find the closest one and open the guide beside it.
- A handful of channels stall or show nothing while the rest of the list plays normally. Channels that will not load
- One television or box fails, yet another device tried on its own with the same login plays. Device faults by hardware family
- A MAG box hangs during start-up, or reaches the portal and then shows an empty list. MAG activation in boot order
- The player puts words on screen: a refusal, a timeout or a warning about connections. Error wording and what sits behind it
The guides
#Channels
Tells a single broken stream apart from a line that has stopped, and covers channels that were renamed, were never part of your regional package, or play while the program guide stays empty.
one channel or many
Devices
The fault signatures of MAG hardware, Fire Stick and Android players and the TV apps that accept nothing but a playlist link, plus a way to use VLC on a laptop to prove whether the credentials work.
one screen only
MAG activation
Follows a MAG box from the loader to the channel list, checking the MAC address, the portal address, the clock and the network in a sensible order, and says what to send when a box is replaced.
set-top box
Error Messages
Sorts on-screen messages into refusals, timeouts and silent failures, and lists the usual reasons behind an invalid credentials message, from an expired line to a second screen using the same login.

When two descriptions fit
#Begin with whichever test costs the least. Moving to a different mirror host is the cheapest check there is and it settles most buffering reports, so try it before you reset a box or reinstall an app. Keep a note of what you changed and when, because that note is the first thing anyone helping you will ask for.
If a guide ends by sending you to support, the contact page lists the details that let a fault be fixed on the first reply, and the FAQ collects the questions that come up most often. Background on what a line actually is lives in How It Works.
Still stuck after all that?
Send the channel, the device and the app you are using and we will look at the line itself.
